Senior Payroll Manager (m/f/d)

 
Description

As Germany’s leading staffing firm, we support foreign companies with their strategic expansion in Germany.

Our focus is to provide outsourced HR- and payroll management, also referred to as Employer of Records (EoR) and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services, in which Universal Hires hosts our foreign client’s local employees on our payrolls.

We are looking to hire a talented and energetic Senior Payroll Manager to help us handle and develop our existing payroll operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and CFO of the company, you will be responsible for onboarding and payroll-related procedures in close collaboration with our global clients.

Location: Berlin

Starting date: 1st March 2020

Responsibilities
  • Delivering German payrolls for multiple international clients
  • Working closely with our clients on a daily basis, ensuring that the Payroll Service is delivered to professional and high quality standard
  • Collaborating with the Key Account team to successfully service Global Clients
  • Assisting with the delivery of projects, company objectives and processes to drive the business strategies forward
  • Managing and delivering client payrolls against the agreed schedule
  • Communicating directly with clients and external third parties to ensure deadlines are met, SLA’s are exceeded
  • Dealing with / Escalating Client issues
Requirements
  • You will have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • You preferably have 3 years of experience in the HR industry
  • Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and relationship management experience
  • Demonstrated ability managing multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A commercial mindset, excellent negotiation skills and experience with vendor management
  • You are fluent in English and German and can outline concepts clearly and concisely
